CRA (Alloa) Ltd is a member of the British Standards Institution (BSI) - membership no.41105681Individual Staff are members of Professional Bodies as listed in Section 3.CRA (Alloa) Ltd has been confirmed as an Approved Body for Certification of Design (Building Structures) by Structural Engineers Registration Ltd.In addition, all the Chartered Engineers are Approved Certifiers of Design (Building Structures) by Structural Engineers Registration Ltd.

CRA (Alloa) Ltd & Corebrook Engineering Ltd merged in early 2024, despite operating under 2 different companys, the merge of the two has created a massive impact to both buisnesses, where they cross examine each others work and working together to create the best final product for our clients.

CRA (Alloa) Ltd was established on 1st July 2014 after the reorganisation of CRA Ltd (a well established company),which had been formed in 1990 from the original Charles Roe Associates (June 1972)

 

Staff Employed/Skills Base

Our office consists of 1 technical director who is an approved certifier of design, 1 senior designer engineer, 2 project engineers, 1 senior technician, 2 engineering technicians and 1 Administrator.

 

Nature of Work Undertaken by the Practice

Private domestic, housing projects-private and public, local authority, health and education, commercial, industrial and environmental projects involving all aspects of civil and structural engineering.

 

Details of Practices Commitment to Training and CPD

CRA (Alloa) Ltd are committed to the training and CPD of individual members of staff and as a whole. The staff are encouraged to gain and maintain membership of the listed professional bodies and to attend courses run by the professional bodies where appropriate to the works undertaken by the Company. CRA (Alloa) Ltd also maintain and upgrade the in-house information technology with appropriate staff training to a level to provide the services required by our client base.
